Black Cherry & Cardamom Pudding
125 g self-raising flour
60 g castor sugar
1 1/2 tbs McCormick Orange, Cardamom and Vanilla Flavoured Blend
40 g butter, melted
1/2 cup of milk
1 x 825g can black cherries, drained reserving ½ cup of juice
2 tbs raspberry or plum jam
Directions: Pre heat oven to 180°C.
1. Sift flour, castor sugar and McCormick Orange, Cardamom and Vanilla Flavoured Blend into a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix together butter, egg and milk then pour into flour and beat until mixture is smooth.
3. Mix cherries, juice and jam then spoon into baking dish. Evenly and gently spread the pudding mixture over the cherries.
4. Place into the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
